Kids in the Kitchen












On weekends we love to cook as a family since we have a little more time.
Our daughters are just loving being Gluten Free since it means that we cook a lot more often than before. It isn't as simple to feed our family as before, we are creating new recipes each time we cook. We love to use new flours and ingredients. So we have two new chefs in the kitchen.
Here is their newest creation.

Teff Coconut flour Pancakes

2 T soy flour
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
2 T brown sugar
1/2 cup teff flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/2 c brown rice flour
pinch nutmeg
2 T sweet rice flour
4 eggs
1/2 cup yogurt
2 cups soy milk
3 T oil
Stir together dry ingredients
Beat together wet ingredients
Combine both sets of ingredients, stir well
Pour on prepared and preheated griddle
EAT!
